In the 21st century, with the ubiquity of mobile technology, the distinction between education in school and training for the workplace is becoming increasingly blurred. That’s why we have created a link between our education and business training divisions – to ensure that we satisfy the particular needs of each sector whilst recognising the connections.

For example, the Level 1 Health and Safety digital Training Module that we developed for the British Safety Council, for training all personnel involved in the 2012 Olympic Games, is equally appropriate across the age ranges. It exists as an on-line module as well as an iPad app. It is equally accessible and effective at school, college, university, in the home, in the workplace or even on the streets.

To consolidate the links between education and work we are on the advisory board of the Sussex Education Business Partnership, active in the STEM Ambassador programme and working with organisations delivering apprenticeships and training.
